Guess who got back at 10pm and is doing homework due tomorow - Becca is! LoL
Chicago was the best!!!!! We had an absolute BLAST! First off - my dad was telling us about the hotel that we'd be staying at (telling us id wasn't that nice, because we didn't have much money, so not to be disappointed) and we were in for a surprise! The thing was amazing! (Not as nice as the resort in Disney - but pretty dang close! We stayed on floor 41 out of 46. The floors were marble, there were chandelers, belboys, resturants, EVERYTHING you can imagine! Once we got back to the hotel, Jordan got his gift. A cell phone! How awesome! My uncle got him minutes (it's a pay-as-you go phone) So -needless to say - we was thrilled. LoL
We got there about 5ish maybe Friday, then my Unchle met us in the lobby and we walked to the ESPN zone for dinner. It was Jordan's 14th birthday, so my uncle told the waitress and on all the scroll signs they put "The EPSN Zone would like to wish Jordan a happy 13th Birthday" (Sorry bud-lol-they mixed up the years) but it was good. They also have this game room on the top floor where you buy these cards with a certain number of points, then each game takes a different number of points. I dont mean like shoot 'em up arcade games, but like basketball shots, wresting (against the screen) bowling, put-put, racing, etc. They also have this thing in the lobby where they made a Wriggley Field (the Cubs stadium) out of 17000 gum wrappers! (Wriggleys of course! but WOW - it was AMAZING!)
After we used up all our points, we got a cab over to the Sears tower. The view was absolutly AMAZING! I stood in awe for over an hour! We walked back to the hotel stopping at Baskin Robins on the way. There were like a TON of beggers asking for money, and one of them, since we wouldn't give them any money, started cussing us out!! Another had his pants around his knees (GROSS!)
The next morning we went to breakfast (Dunkan Donuts) then shopeed until my Uncle got off work. We were going to go to the Shedd Aquarium, but there was NO parking, so we just went down and spent the day at the Pier. That was so much fun! The skyline was amazing. Also - they had a 1400sq ft maze that we sent through - that was so frikin awesome! LoL we had luch and "shopeed" down there (we didnt buy any souveniers that day at all) We headed back to the hotel around 8 or 9ish, ate canolies (really yummyful) and watched TV.
Next morning (today) we awoke, went to the Cubs shop (I got a Cubs vs. Boston world series hat, Chicago Fire t-shirt, and snow globe), went to the mall (they have a Lego shop and a BUNCH of AMAZING lego displays, and I'm talking 3-D people taller than me (I took a BUNCH of pictures) but wow - it was totally amazing!), then checked out of the hotel, and started our drive home. It was only supposed to be a 6hr drive - but due to construction and traffic jams - it took 10HRS! LoL oh well - I finished my driving time (I now have over my 50hrs and 10night time hours) so that's a plus.
Now I'm trying to do my report for AP (one of the last things I have to do) but my internet is being a butt-head and won't let me do anything!!! nooooooo!!!!! I'm officially freaking out. I have ONE sentence written! Wish me luck! LoL
6days until Mike comes home! YaY - I've almost made it through a whole month! Ha-ha.
100days until Disney! Boo-Yah! I'm excited! LoL - yay
Welp I'm going to go now - Leave lots! Talk to yall later - love you guys!
